Ampere's 'The Nex Big Thing' Electrifies New Delhi on Historic Kashmir to Kanyakumari Journey
Ampere's highly anticipated electric scooter, coined as the Nex Big Thing from Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL), the e-mobility arm of Greaves Cotton Limited, has embarked on a groundbreaking journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Arriving in New Delhi today, the scooter triumphantly covered an impressive approx. 1100+ kilometers. The next major planned pitstop is scheduled for Rajasthan.
Featuring one of the most lightweight operating systems and a vibrant touchscreen, this state-of-the-art scooter promises a seamless riding experience with enhanced navigation and connectivity features. Taking inspiration from the Arctic Tern, a bird known for its global circumnavigation, including a flight over Kanyakumari, the scooter incorporates Indian design elements to create a distinctive fusion of modern aesthetics and cultural heritage. Setting off on a remarkable 5,100+ kilometer expedition from Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir on January 16, 2024, this extraordinary venture not only demonstrates incredible determination and resilience but also underscores the scooter's remarkable power, performance, and style. Over the course of 45 days, the scooter will traverse the entire span of the country, encountering diverse terrains and making stops in numerous notable towns and cities along the way.
