Saint-Gobain announces significant investment in Tamil Nadu
Saint-Gobain Global Board represented by Mr. Pierre-Andre de Chalendar, Chairman and Mr. Benoit Bazin, CEO met the Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru M K Stalin, senior ministers and officials of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The Hon’ble Chief Minister appreciated Saint-Gobain’s contribution over the past two and a half decades in the economic and industrial progress of the state. The Hon’ble Chief Minister clearly outlined his vision to make Tamil Nadu a ‘One Trillion Dollar Economy’ and urged Saint-Gobain to continue to play an important part in fulfilling this vision.
On behalf of Saint-Gobain, Mr. Benoit Bazin, CEO committed a series of green and brownfield investments in several manufacturing sectors in Tamil Nadu, taking its total investment in the state to over INR 8000 Crores.
