Saint-Gobain signs MOU for significant investment in Tamil Nadu
Saint-Gobain India represented by Mr. B. Santhanam, CEO - Asia Pacific and India Region & Chairman signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tamil Nadu Government in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister M K Stalin, senior ministers, and officials of the Government of Tamil Nadu during the Global Investors Meet, 2024.
The MoU entails a series of green and brownfield investments in several manufacturing sectors in Tamil Nadu, taking Saint-Gobain India’s total investment in the state to over INR 8000 Crores. This collaboration underscores Saint-Gobain's dedication to furthering economic development in the state.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister appreciated Saint-Gobain’s contribution over the past two and a half decades in the economic and industrial progress of the state. The Hon’ble Chief Minister urged Saint-Gobain to continue to play an important part in fulfilling his vision to make Tamil Nadu a ‘One Trillion Dollar Economy’.
Mr. B.
