In just a few years since its founding, VinFast, the Nasdaq-listed carmaker from Vietnam, has rapidly expanded its global footprint, making strategic inroads into key markets across Asia, North America, Europe, and now India. Its commitment to innovation and sustainability has lead to the creation of a comprehensive EV line up that meets the various needs of consumers. Among that line up, one of the first EV models the brand developed using a dedicated platform was the VF 6, a Premium SUV designed under a philosophy called “The Duality in Nature.”
“We believe our premium SUVs VF 6 and VF 7 are game-changers that will accelerate the adoption of EVs in India,” said Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, at the recent Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, where the brand officially announced its launch.
Continuing its rise, VinFast has set its sights on India, a market ripe with possibilities and a growing demand for eco-friendly mobility. “Our presence here not only underlines our commitment to the Indian market but also showcases our vision for sustainable mobility solutions and advanced technology,” said VinFast’s Mr. Chau.
Alongside the unveiling of the VF 6, VinFast’s expected plans for a local manufacturing facility demonstrated the brand’s dedication to meeting regional demand. By establishing roots in Tamil Nadu, the company remains committed to the competitive Indian market.
Looking ahead, VinFast’s ambitions go beyond merely selling vehicles—the brand aims to be a catalyst in shaping India’s EV landscape. The VF 6 will be one of several VinFast EV models driving this vision forward, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
